Example What If Calculation Spreadsheet

The example below shows the Initial Points of Teams A to L before the start of the Scenario.

Then the user inputs the Wins (W) and Losses (L) for each team to simulate them playing out the Season schedule. This has been done for the next 2 Rounds in the example below.

The Wins and Losses (and Draws included also) Columns have been updated as per the entries, and the Points have been changed to reflect this. The position column indicates what position each team is now in, and the Top 4 teams are highlighted as in this example the No. of Teams that will contest finals is 4. This is an enterable parameter that can be changed to reflect your league.

Once you've completed one scenario, you may want to try it again, but keep the information you just put in to compare later. There is an additional spreadsheet within the tool where you can save your scenarios, so you can then compare various "what ifs" and base your decision making on that.
